Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show - HerbariumRavensthorpe Wildflower Show is a celebration of the spectacular wildflowers that are in bloom all year round in the Shire of Ravensthorpe.

The Shire makes up the eastern half of the Fitzgerald River National Park, which is one of the richest and diverse wildflower areas in the world.

 

Wildflowers - Star Flower

20% of Western Australia’s 12,000 wild flower species can be found within the Fitzgerald River National Park, recognised as a world Biosphere Reserve.

Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show features a spectacular display of over 700 named species, including 62 species found no where else on earth!

 

Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show Activities

The Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show Shop will be available to purchase wildflower products, and work of local artists and crafts people.

Visit the Ravensthorpe Herbarium which houses a large collection of wildflower specimens that have been collected from within the Ravensthorpe Shire.

Ravensthorpe Wildflower Drives have been designed to help wildflower enthusiasts find particular wildflowers in the district.

Take a leisurely walk along the Ravensthorpe Wildflower Walk. This walk along the Hopetoun-Ravensthorpe Railway Heritage Walk, is marked by plaques identifying flora, fauna and historical sites.

Spring Festival Market Day, 13th Sept 2008
This event features guest speakers, stalls, wildflower arranging, and much more.

Open: Daily 9.00am to 4.00pm
Admission: Adults $3, children free
